Over 50 years of relentless innovation

1960

Foundation

In the mid 1960s, brothers Antonio and Santino Adriani pursue their dream of building the first prototype of a vending machine. In the following years, the idea was put into practice with the production of the first rotating plate model, created entirely by hand on the basis of a revolutionary patent that consisted of multiple discs actuated by a single motor and a series of mechanical clutches. A stroke of genius that laid the foundations for the birth of a great company of vending machines: in 1967, FAS – Fratelli Adriani Schio – was established, in the back of their garden.

1980

Consolidation

In the 1980s, FAS grew rapidly and established itself as a leader in the market for refrigerated snack and food vending machines. The reliability of the machines and the focus on build quality became the hallmarks that consolidated the company’s reputation nationwide.

1990

A spiralling revolution

At the beginning of the 1990s, FAS introduced spiral machines, a true innovation that rendered the product highly visible – a real stand-out within the sector. This marked a change in the user experience, bringing greater transparency and modernity to the world of vending.

The range expands

In 2000, FAS expanded its offering, introducing coffee and hot drink vending solutions. The integration of new technologies made it possible to respond to the needs of an evolving market, strengthening the company’s position as a comprehensive partner within the sector.
